Large Formats for
Unique Aging

From cork density to temperature, there are many variables that influence how a wine ages and develops over time. Because of their size, our large format library wines age more slowly than standard bottle sizes.

Tradition

At Silver Oak, our philosophy is to make wines that are a pleasure to drink upon release and also age gracefully for many years to come. With each vintage we hold back a small quantity in our family cellar – wines we later release to be shared with friends, family and customers. You might say it’s history in a bottle.

2. Storing Library Wines for Optimal Aging

Silver Oak wines are produced with the structure and finesse to age for 25-30 years or more. You don’t need a private cellar, but how and where you store your library wines will determine how they develop over time.
