Perfect Summer BBQ and Wine Pairings

With summer on its way, it’s time to break out the grill, throw some wine in the fridge and call family and friends for an easy, impromptu get-together. Not sure what to serve? We’re here to take the guess-work out of BBQ and wine.

It’s no secret that here at the winery, we love a good ol’ fashioned summer BBQ. Our menu inspiration comes from fresh, seasonal ingredients grown in our garden and meats and seafood that pair deliciously with our entire selection of Silver Oak and Twomey wines. With Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc to choose from, everyone is sure to find a wine – and a dish – that they love.

Tip: Planning to serve red wine and it’s 90 degrees outside? Don’t be afraid to chill your reds for 30 minutes in the fridge, bringing them to a temperature of 50-55 degrees. It will temper the tannins and bring out a more refreshing quality in the wine.
