We offer a variety of special tastings and tours to provide you with the best experience possible. Reservations are required for some of these tastings, so please see below for more details.

If you need to cancel your reservation, we kindly ask that you contact us no later than 8am the day of your reservation. Failure to cancel by the requested time will result in payment (50% of the bookings) for the scheduled reservation. Our Private Tastings and Tours are required for parties of 8 or more. We do offer
private tastings for smaller groups that wish to have their own host for their visit.
Taste our current release Cabernet Sauvignons and take home your Silver Oak wine
glass. Purchase one of our current release Cabernets, and $10 of your tasting fee
will be applied to your purchase. Tasting includes either a Silver Oak logo glass
or a $10 credit toward the purchase of either current-release Cabernet.

Our Special Library Tasting allows you the opportunity to compare both our Alexander
Valley and Napa Valley Cabernet alongside an older vintage of each generally not
available in the marketplace. For some, it is a way to try wines aging in their
own cellars. For others, it offers a first glimpse into the evolution of a wine’s
aromas and flavors.

Experience the red wines that make up our family. Four wines from three varieties
grown in two counties crafted with one goal – to produce delicious, elegant
wines meant to be shared with family and friends. Gather around our farm table to
savor current releases of our Twomey Pinot Noir and Merlot followed by our Silver
Oak Alexander Valley and Napa Valley Cabernets.

Tony’s Tasting

Tony LeBlanc started in our cellar over twenty years ago and worked his way up the
ranks to General Manager. In the same casual style of numerous tastings that have
taken place over the years in his former office, relax as you leisurely sip through
our Alexander Valley and Napa Valley cabernets with a surprise Library wine to finish.

Alexander Valley Cabernet Vertical Tasting
Our Alexander Valley Cabernet Vertical Tasting is currently unavailable as our 2003 – 2008 Alexander Valley Collectors are Sold Out. This tasting will be available after the release of our 2009 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon on August 3, 2013, with the first tasting offered on August 9, 2013.

Napa Valley Cabernet Vertical Tasting

Experience a vertical tasting of our Napa Valley Cabernet from six different library
vintages. This tasting is held in a private room and is limited to ten people.

- Take Highway US-101 North across the Golden Gate Bridge
- Continue on Highway 101 North for approximately 1½ hours
- Continue past Healdsburg and Geyserville
- Turn left onto Canyon Road; pass under the highway
- Take an immediate right onto Chianti Road
- The winery is located 3 miles down Chianti Road on the left
From Oakland International Airport
- Travel northwest on Airport Access Road toward Hegenberger Road
- Turn right onto Hegenberger Road
- Merge onto I-880 North toward downtown Oakland
- I-880 North becomes I-580 West
- Continue onto US-101 North
- Continue past Healdsburg and Geyserville
- Turn left onto Canyon Road; pass under the highway
- Take an immediate right onto Chianti Road
- The winery is located 3 miles down Chianti Road on the left
From Sacramento
- Take Highway I-80 West
- Exit at CA-37 toward San Rafael
- Continue on Marine World Parkway, which becomes Sears Point Road CA-37
- Follow CA-37 West
- Take the US-101 North exit toward Santa Rosa/Eureka
- Continue past Healdsburg and Geyserville
- Turn left onto Canyon Road; pass under the highway
- Take an immediate right onto Chianti Road

The Story behind the Winery
Silver Oak’s Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is produced at our picturesque Geyserville winery, set amid the rolling hills of northern Sonoma County. This winery is a favorite destination for wine lovers, who return season after season to taste Silver Oak’s newest releases and chat with our knowledgeable tasting room staff.
The Tudor-style winery features a massive flagstone arch that leads to a central courtyard with a fountain. High, arched glass doors open on the tasting room with its rustic stone fireplace. Designed to resemble the American oak barrels that are a signature of Silver Oak, the oak tasting bar is accented with steel barrel hoops. Beautifully etched glass doors highlight the stone-lined wine library next door, which contains an enormous oak barrel carved with the Silver Oak logo.
