For most people, the territory that Vivien covers – the world – might be a little intimidating. Not for her. “I’ve been passionate about wine since the 1970’s when my father planted a small vineyard in Dorset, England. The opportunity to represent wines of such quality and to build their reputation in the global market is the best part of my job.”
Vivien has spent 25 years working with the wines of California, starting in retail, moving to distributor management, and on to a series of progressively more senior sales and marketing positions at wineries in southern California, Napa Valley and Sonoma County. Before joining Silver Oak she consulted for both international and domestic wineries. And though she’s still relatively new at Silver Oak and Twomey, she knows she’s going to like it here. “The welcome I have received from everyone at all the properties has been incredible.”
