For Kate, interacting with customers is the best part of her job. “I am awed every day by the role that Silver Oak plays in the lives of our customers! At every event I host at least one person wants to share a story about a bottle of Silver Oak they enjoyed at a birthday, with a loved one or old friend. The fact that they allow us to be a part of their lives is very special. I’m grateful to work for such a beloved winery.”
With past experience working at wineries and a distributor, Kate is thrilled with her role as “brand ambassador” for Silver Oak and Twomey, working directly with accounts in the San Francisco Bay Area. She also relishes the time she spends at the wineries themselves. “I’ll never forget the Napa Release Day in February 2009. It was the first Release Day after we opened the doors of the new winery and we thought of it as our official grand opening. It was amazing to see almost 4000 people gather for the release of our new wine.”
